Hi, the weather forecast is good, at present, with a sunny day and a low risk of rain.
This walk will start at 10.00 from the Black Lion, Patcham, on the A23. If travelling by bus, take the 5A to the Co-Op in Patcham village, the pub is about 200 metres to the north. If driving, I suggest you park on the A23 near the Patcham Place Playing Fields, or on Brangwyn Way, or Brangwyn Crescent. If running late, give me a call on my mobile, 07725 893591.
Bring the usual, waterproof jacket and trousers, boots, food for the day, and drinks. The paths on the Downs are getting more slippery, consider bringing walking poles. It is adviseable to bring a map and compass, the map should be the O.S. 1:25,000 Brighton & Hove sheet.
It will be a Downland walk.
For length of walk, there’s several possibilities, between 14 & 22 km, we can discuss before setting off, or email me on email@example.com. Even if we opt for the long route, there would be options to shorten it at various points.
Let me know of any health or injury issues.
Should be a good day! Cheers, Pete WallaceThis content is for members only. Please log in or register.
