Mountain First Aid Course
Join top doctors for a one-off weekend of high altitude first aid in Hathersage this June.
Organised by Dr David Hillebrandt, president of the UIAA Medical Commission and honorary medical advisor to the BMC, this one-off event will provide the opportunity to receive first aid training from experts in the field of mountain medicine.
Based in Hathersage in the Peak District on 4-5 June, the course will be run over two days, with the first day focusing on UK crag/hill medicine, and the second day focusing on high altitude first aid for the Alps and beyond.
It’s May, it’s Wales, and it’s time for the jamboree that is TremFest 2016. This fun-filled weekend is your chance to give something back to the crags you derive so much enjoyment from. Put the date in your diary – the weekend of 7 and 8 May – when work and play combine to celebrate all that is good about Tremadog.
